Acer pal. ‘Twombly’s Red Sentinel’ Japanese Maple, 6 gal

This columnar sport of the popular ‘Bloodgood’ boasts the same attractive, rich burgundy foliage, but offers a smaller, more narrow form. Foliage emerges bright red, darkens as it ages, and turns brilliant scarlet in the fall. Bare stems darken to blood red in winter.
